Throughout the entire wedding planning process, she gave me so much support and guidance, especially since I had very little knowledge about florals. The final dried-flower arrangements turned out absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly with my autumn, natural wedding theme. The bud vases on the tables were especially well loved by our guests—many friends even took them home as keepsakes, which meant so much to me.

During the planning stage, Sylvia was always proactive in discussing floral design options with me. She took the time to patiently explain everything and answer all my questions. What I appreciated most was that she truly cared about helping me stay within budget. She thoughtfully planned ways to reuse florals—for example, arrangements used during the ceremony were later repurposed for the reception, ensuring nothing went to waste while still looking seamless and intentional.

Our venue was about a five-hour drive from the Bay Area, yet she was willing to make the long trip with a car full of florals and personally participate in most of the setup. Since our wedding was largely DIY and we didn’t have a planner, Sylvia played a huge role in setting up both the ceremony and reception. The day was much more hectic than I had imagined, and I honestly can’t picture how the wedding would have come together without her help.

Even when I was overwhelmed and missed small details, Sylvia was incredibly thoughtful—she remembered to distribute boutonnieres to our wedding party and handled everything without complaint. The reception space turned out warm, cozy, and beautifully arranged. You could truly feel that she cared deeply about making the wedding perfect, as if it were her own.

Sylvia’s dried-flower work is also exceptionally creative and refined. After understanding my preferences, she came up with many unique ideas, such as using bud vases along the ceremony aisle in a very elegant way. I mentioned that I wanted a teardrop-shaped bouquet, and she beautifully brought that vision to life using dried flowers. Her color palette was stunning—soft, bright, and harmonious with the venue, completely dispelling my concerns about dried florals. She even incorporated rain tree leaves, which added a distinctive and artistic touch. Large dried arrangements were also designed with great structure and character. Under her hands, the dried flowers truly came alive.

Overall, I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of working with Sylvia—from communication, to execution, to the final floral designs. She is incredibly kind, dedicated, and talented. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist who truly cares.”
